Phool Bagh, also known as Ganesh Shankar Vidyarthi Udyan, is a historic urban park located on Mall Road in the Civil Lines area of Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh, India. It serves as a prominent cultural and recreational landmark, known for its colonial-era architecture, landscaped gardens, and association with India’s freedom movement. Originally laid out during the British colonial period as Queen Victoria Garden, Phool Bagh was later renamed King Edward Memorial (K.E.M.) Garden after the 1876 visit of King Edward VII. The memorial hall within, known as KEM Hall, was used as a temporary hospital during World War I. After India’s independence, the park and hall were renamed to honor freedom fighter Ganesh Shankar Vidyarthi, and the hall became known as Gandhi Bhawan.

The park features expansive lawns, vibrant seasonal flowerbeds, and shaded walkways popular among joggers and yoga enthusiasts. Statues of national leaders including Mahatma Gandhi and B. R. Ambedkar adorn the grounds. Within its premises stand the Kanpur Museum (also known as Kanpur Sangrahalaya), a municipal library, and the historic Cawnpore Union Club.
